Bringing Cheer to Hospitalized Children in the Middle East

Lynn Grassmeyer is a third-generation Palestinian American. A real estate agent in Nashville, Tennessee, she also speaks frequently on issues in the Middle East and works on behalf of peace and justice in that region. This Christmas season she is traveling in the guise of Santa's Helper, visiting children with special needs at various hospitals in the Holy Land.

ahmed final!Representing "Children of Promise," a local fundraising ministry, she uses her puppet, "Ahmed," and amateur piano skills to bring happiness to the severely disabled and disenfranchised living in Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

In addition to bringing cheer to children in the Middle East, she hopes that her trip will make a difference back home in the US by helping people see others not as a particular race or religion or ethnicity but for who they really are and what they can become.

Please join us in praying for Lynn as she journeys from Nashville to Jerusalem and beyond this Christmas, exploring together the gift of joy and love! We'll post updates and photos soon. Thanks for praying for this beautiful outreach.
