NEEDED: ESA Member to Work with Pennsylvanians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (PADP)

Founded in 1997, Pennsylvanians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (PADP (previously known as Pennsylvania Abolitionists United Against the Death Penalty) has energized the movement to end capital punishment in the state. By mobilizing a powerful network of individuals and groups, they have implemented a comprehensive strategy designed to put a stop to all executions, death warrants and death penalty prosecutions in Pennsylvania. They are organizing an action-oriented citizens' movement which engages local and statewide power at every level and in every setting – executive, legislative, judicial, corporate, religious and community.

ESA has just joined this organization. They have a planning meeting on February 1. Is there a PA-based ESA member who would want to be our representative on this committee?  If so, please contact Ron Sider at as soon as possible.  Many thanks!
