The Jesus Agenda

by Al Tizon

A new resource, the Jesus Agenda, is a nine-week course for small groups that desire to engage in the issues that Jesus cared about, particularly in his "Nazareth Manifesto" found in Luke 4:18-21. Film-based, the Jesus Agenda takes participants, by way of informative videos, all over the world to hear from Christian leaders and churches that are engaged in holistic or integral mission. This is a timely resource as the world celebrates the birth of Jesus. I can't think of better way of celebrating Jesus' birthday than by renewing our commitment to his agenda of compassion, justice, and salvation.
