The Coalition of Immokalee Workers represents farm workers working in Florida’s tomato fields. They are well known for their Campaign for Fair Food, in which they lead nationwide boycotts against restaurants or grocery chains until the businesses agree to sign an agreement to buy only those tomatoes grown using fair labor. However, their first action, back in 1995, was a mass strike against lowering wages.
