Support the Neediest People in Your Community

Most people agree that the future deficit needs to be reduced in our country. ESA and Sojourners are working to make sure that those cuts are not made on the backs of the poor.

Unless things change, the Congressional Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction, also known as the "supercommittee," is going to recommend cutting $1.5 trillion from the 2012 budget. Many of these cuts will severely impact humanitarian services, both domestically and abroad. ESA is partnering with Sojourners to protect the most vulnerable of populations from being affected by these cuts. By hosting a "Come and See" event that speak directly to the issues at hand, you have the opportunity to make an impact on the policy makers in our country. Read more.
